2026 Texas Legends Major bracket link
The Texas Legends Major begins this coming Friday at the Texas Star Park in Euless just outside of Dallas at 4 pm CENTRAL time. The men’s double elimination tournament features 25 teams from 11 different states with 14 of the teams from the Conference USSSA! There are 3 Major teams, 3 ‘AA’ teams, 3 ‘A’ teams, and 11 ‘B’ teams. The favorites will be the Major teams like Shore Outdoor Living who won this tournament last year and also won the Hall of Fame Dual #2 last weekend. Also Dan Smith who won this tournament in 2024 under the RoofX sponsorship name. And Resmondo of course is always a threat to win although they haven’t won the Texas Legends Major since 2021. The tournament is seeded based upon 2026 Conference USSSA points and that means I-57 Roofing (IL-AA) will be the #1 seed and they are a threat to win this event. The Dudley Pro-M ball is the ball they traditionally use with 8 to 16 home run limits depending on the higher classed team playing in the game. There is some rain forecast for the 3 day event. The fences at the main complex are 300 feet down the lines and go out to 310 in center field with slippery artificial turf infields and grass outfields. There will be plenty of snipers. The scores are traditionally high but will be dependent upon the wind. They are using the baseball field across the street for some of the games because the men can no longer play on Futures field at the main park because long home run balls broke too many windows in the business across from left field. With 14 conference teams the men’s winner will receive 236 points, 2nd place – 196, 3rd-176, 4th-166, 5th-156, 7th-146, 9th-136, 13th-126, 17th-116. There will be plenty of upsets. The livestream will be up at USSSALive.com and the USSSA Chat Room will be open from Friday through Sunday to discuss the tournament. The women’s tournament begins and ends Saturday and has 7 teams including 2 conference teams.
