The Battle on the Chesapeake Major returns to Glen Burnie, Maryland outside of Baltimore this coming weekend. The tournament features 13 teams from 6 different states, including 3 Conference teams, Chick-fil-a/Shore OL/LS/Skyren/BAF (VA-AA), Fishers/StoltzfusWelding/All Hustle (PA-B), and Chick-fil-a/BAF Sports (VA-B). Chick-fil-a’s ‘AA’ team should be the favorite with Fishers who won Connecticut, AUIT (NY-B), and PF Softball (MA-B) being their biggest competition. The Bachman Complex has 300 foot home run fences and the Dudley Pro-M ball will be used. The tournament starts Friday evening and ends late Saturday night with thunderstorms in the forecast for Saturday afternoon.
