The 2026 Conference USSSA season continues in Peoria, Arizona with the “Cactus Classic” at the Pioneer Community Park with its 325 foot fence dimensions! The Cactus Classic has been played off and on for over a decade at 4 different parks in and around Phoenix, AZ. This year there will be 14 teams in the men’s division from 8 different states. 8 of the teams are from the Conference so the winner will take home 180 + (4 x 8) = 212 points. The double elimination tournament is seeded by the 2026 Conference points standings so Resmondo will be the #1 seed and try for their 5th tournament win of the year. They should be challenged by BeHappy/StandardPlumbing (AZ-AA). The weather looks warm.  Action in the men’s division starts at 4 PM Pacific time on Friday and ends Saturday evening.

On the women’s side there is 7 teams from 4 different states and 6 of the teams are Conference teams. The women play a one day tournament on Saturday. Derby Girls/Smash It/Resmondo (WA-Major) is the favorite.
