The 3rd Annual Chattahoochee Major in Columbus, Georgia is this weekend with 21 men’s and 14 women’s teams. On the men’s side 19 of the 21 are Conference teams with all 4 Major teams and 5 ‘AA’ teams scheduled to be in attendance. On the women’s side they have all 6 Women’s Major and 1 ‘AA’ team. The festivities begin on Thursday night at 7:30 PM eastern time with the BSC All Stars vs the Conference All Stars “Grudge Match”. Check out the rosters for that one here. Then the tournament begins on Friday night and it will be warm and rainy on the 300 foot fences with the Dudley Pro-M 44/375 ball. Resmondo is the favorite having won 4 tournaments on all sized fields this year. They won at the Las Vegas BLD fields which were less than 300, HOF #2 which was on baseball fields, Myrtle Beach on 325’s, and the Jim Beam which was on a baseball field. There should be (19 x 4) + 180 = 256 points for the winner if Monsta shows but rumors of their demise may be premature. I guess we will see Friday.
