GASTONIA, NC – October 12, 2012 – Worth today announced the signing of one of slowpitch softball’s marquee players, Jeff Hall, to its advisory staff. Hall is currently the first baseman for the top-ranked Men’s Major slowpitch team, Resmondo/ Worth.
Other Worth Advisory Staff players on the Resmondo roster include Travis Resmondo, Andy Purcell, BJ Fulk, Don DeDonatis III, and Greg Connell.
Hall has been a member of four USSSA™ Men’s Major World Championship teams, and was the most valuable player of the 2000 event. In addition, Hall has been selected to 13 Men’s Major All Tournament teams, and is also a member of the All-Disney team. Hall was the first and only player in USSSA major softball to win the Triple Crown. Hall was inducted into the USSSA National Hall of Fame in 2006.
This signing continues St. Louis-based Worth’s aggressive initiative to add the best players and coaches to its roster of product development advisors. Worth’s fastpitch advisory team includes: Patti Gasso, head softball coach University of Oklahoma; Ralph and Karen Weekly, co-head softball coaches at University of Tennessee; Deana Gumpf, head softball coach University of Notre Dame; and Sharon Perkin, head softball coach at Georgia Tech.
