USSSA was founded on Slow Pitch softball and despite being a vast multi-sport association these days, the sport of Slow Pitch still is a huge part of the organization in that it is one of the most popular sports and draws good crowds across the country and views on broadcasts who are around the world. When it comes to teams there are hundreds of thousands of teams and millions of players who play USSSA Slow Pitch. Nationwide Conference USSSA has in the last decade showcased the best in Slow Pitch softball. Recently we received this wonderful testimonial for the Nationwide Conference and USSSA from Herb Price, Manager and Sponsor for the Red’s Astros/TPS/Sports Den and we thought we should share it with all of the Nationwide Conference softball fans!
On behalf of my team, coaches, sponsors and families – I want to thank Don, Laurie and the entire USSSA staff for a wonderful season capped by so much fun at the Nationwide Conference Championships, B Worlds and the USSSA Major World Series. The experience far exceeded my expectations. The competition was great, venues were wonderful, Mystic Dunes Resort staff took great care of us and best of all everyone at USSSA was so nice to us and extremely helpful. I will cherish the experience the rest of my life – I have had a team for 43 years and nothing compares to this season. I am very thankful to Wendi and Stacy all the other office and field staff, and you Laurie for taking such good care of us all season – but especially for all the Florida trips. LOVE USSSA and LOVE ALL YOU GUYS!!
