Each tournament I will release this “Who Won” report for those fans that just want to know quickly what happened. Then during the week I will release the condensed games on YouTube in chronological order, for the most part, and then the tournament report and the highlights. For those that don’t want to know who won and just want to follow the condensed games – DON’T READ BEYOND THIS POINT!  🙂

The 21st season of the nations top slow pitch softball league, the Conference USSSA, kicked off in Las Vegas, Nevada this past weekend March 27-29, 2026 at the Big League Dreams and Arroyo Sports Parks. On the men’s side there were 32 teams and the favorite Juno Athletics/LSR (NJ-Major) went undefeated (6-0) to win the tournament, beating CutThroatSports/Impact Edge/Coursey Realty (CA-B) 37-26 late Saturday night in the winner’s final, and again 32-12 in the championship Sunday. Juno had a very professional demeanor as they rolled through each game averaging 34.2 runs per game while allowing just 17.3 defensively. CutThroatSports was the surprise of the tournament knocking off both ‘AA’ teams – BeHappy 44-36 in the semifinals Saturday, and I-57 Roofing 49-48 on a walk off single by Kyle Harmon on Sunday morning in the loser’s final. I-57 Roofing after losing their second game of the tournament to the CA-B team A&M/Davis Trucking because of some home run mis-management, came back to win 6 straight in the loser’s bracket to finish 3rd. And Greinert/Koval/BAF (MD-A) finished 4th after winning 5 games including a late Saturday win over BeHappy 31-11.

The fields played extremely short with an incredible batch of Dudley Pro-M balls that are just too much ball for 300 and less foot fields with today’s bats and players. After a record setting 2025 where the Conference averaged its most runs per 7 innings and highest on base percentage in history, we are off to a start that will shatter both records this year. Infielders had no time to react. Outfielders even got blown up. The Big League Dreams renovations are going well though and the turf looked awesome. The Conference takes 2 and a half weeks off now for Easter before resuming with the Hall of Fame Classic Dual in Viera, Florida at the Spacecoast Complex April 16-19.
