Conference USSSA returned to the Rocky Mountains this year for the Classic at the Aurora Sports Complex. 20 men’s teams from 9 different states with 11 teams from the Conference played a double elimination tournament on the 310 to 325 foot fields. The favorite and #1 seeded ATARAXIS/SONNYS/JBLNEWBREEDKOVALBAF (MD-AA) went 5-0 beating Cheap Suits /REPUBLIC REALTY /ESP (CA-A) 48-46 in the winner’s final and Bay Area Legends (CA-AA) 25-9 in the championship. Ataraxis has now won 3 Conference tournaments this year. The light air at 5,000 feet altitude made for some high scoring games until the last 3 games of the tournament when the wind was blowing in. The Dudley Pro-M ball was used.

Derby Girls/Resmondo/OA/SIS (WA-Major) rolled through the 11 team Rocky Mountain Classic undefeated to win their 6th tournament of the year and 3rd in a row. Derby Girls knocked off a feisty SD Lighting/BeHappy/Cheap Suits/Proton (AZ-A) 19-9 in the winner’s final and 15-14 in the championship game.
