Men’s Cincy Shootout
The Conference returned to Mid America Ballyard in Cincinnati for the first time since 2022. The scores were outrageous, the games long, and the top Major and ‘AA’ teams played smash mouth softball with the Dudley Pro-M “Vietnam” balls. I-57 Roofing (IL-AA) quickly established themselves as contenders, using their #1 seed and uncanny ability to play with the hard balls and 300 foot fences to beat Stars, BeHappy, the Shore OL Major team, and Resmondo in the winner’s bracket. Late Saturday night in near freezing temperatures Dan Smith beat Dirty Vegas by a wild score of 78-63, one of if not the highest score of all time in Conference on 300 foot fields? On Sunday morning the final 4 games started at 8 am and ended after 5 pm as Juno beat Dan Smith to finish 3rd. And Resmondo beat Juno then I-57 Roofing twice to win the tournament.
