Conference USSSA played in the heat and humidity that was the South Commons Softball Complex in Columbus, Georgia the weekend of June 14-15, 2024. The 17 team men’s tournament started on Friday at 5 pm eastern and ended Saturday night around 10 pm. RoofX/BadDraw/CE/Pure/Envy the new Major team based out of Indiana knocked off Resmondo/All American Restoration/O (FL-Major) 37-13 in the winner’s bracket finals Saturday afternoon and again 38-18 in the championship game in just 3.5 innings to win their 3rd tournament of the year. RoofX leads the Conference points standings, improved to 15-0 on 300 foot fields, 5-0 vs Resmondo this year, and they have won 9 straight games against Major teams. JBL Roofing/Pauer Sports (OH-AA) made a nice run to 3rd place knocking off Sonny’s twice. Conference is off this coming weekend but then have 3 tournaments the next weekend, 2 in Seattle, and 1 in Kansas City.

The 10 team Women’s Major at South Commons Park in Columbus, Georgia was won by Monsta/LaFamiglia/GTL (FL-Major) as they went undefeated beating Team 24/Native (FL-Major) 16-12 in the winner’s bracket finals early Saturday evening and again 15-12 in the championship game late Saturday night of the one day event. Rogue/SteelSports/Worth/Robinhood (NJ-A) was 3rd, and Incognito (MI-Major) was 4th. This was Monsta’s 5th tournament win of the season in 8 Conference tournaments and they are 1st in the points standings.
