Rock Run/AllHustle/Silverback/Koval (IN-B) middle infielder Jeremy Fry hits a walk off homer with 1 on, down 1 run to win the Crown Town Classic Championship game over Hubs Pub/Gas (MO-B).
Rock Run went undefeated to win the 23 team 2022 Crown Town Classic in Shawnee, Kansas at the Mid-America Sports Complex but it wasn’t easy. They came from behind to beat Cheap Suits/Dirty/Republic RE (CA-A) 14-13 in the 10th inning in the winner’s final early Saturday evening and then they knocked off Hubs Pub/Gas (MO-B) in the championship with the walk off homer pictured above on Sunday! Cheap Suits ended up 3rd and LundMortgage/4theFallen (AZ-A) was 4th.

Women’s Crown Town Major
Xtreme/ASP/Athlon/Anarchy’s (MN-A) Allie Mendez hits a walk off single in the bottom of the 8th in the “if” game with 2 outs to beat Lady Klutch/Broughton/TR/Nitro (AR-Major).
Xtreme pulled off the upset at the 2022 Crown Town Classic women’s major. They beat the only Major team in the 9 team tournament – Lady Klutch/Broughton/TR/Nitro (AR-M) 7-5 in the winner’s bracket finals Saturday afternoon. Then Lady Klutch knocked off Fully Loaded/Berserk Athletics (MO-B) 6-3 in the loser’s final and forced the ‘if’ necessary game with a dramatic 7-6 win over Xtreme. In the championship the game which went to extra innings, Xtreme won on the walk off hit by Allie Mendez pictured above. BNS/Smash It Sport (MO-A) was 4th. Next up for the women is the Brick, NJ Major this coming Saturday.
