Resmondo-Speciatly Tank/Worth won the “Miken Last Chance” Nationwide Conference USSSA season finale as they went 6-0 and defeated Red’s Astros/Slugger/Stucco/Dirty an ‘A’ team based out of Indiana in both the winner’s bracket championship game 34-14 late on Saturday night and again in the championship on Sunday 31-28.
In both games Red’s jumped out to huge leads. On Saturday night Red’s watched their 11-0 lead after one half inning of play disappear as Resmondo scored 21 runs in one frame. Then on Sunday Red’s led 17-3 early on as they scored 11 runs in the second inning without an out. But Resmondo clawed their way back in and persevered to the title 31-28.
