Demarini/Dirty/Xtremeathletics silenced the critics with a “Resmondo style” domination of the Valdosta Major. Demarini outscored their opponents 109-38 as they won all 4 games by the run rule and only let up more than 10 runs in one game. Demarini beat Team Combat 29-8 in the winner’s final and 32-16 in the championship game. Newly aquired outfielder Lee Payne was named tournament MVP, and were also bolstered by the return of Steven Lloyd.
