Classic Glass MVP Reid Ramirez hits against Seminoles in the Winner's Final

2021 USSSA 'A' Worlds

1st Place – Classic Glass/Easton (CA-A)

Classic Glass/Easton the #4 seeded 'A' team from California went undefeated to win the 60 team USSSA 'A' World tournament on Sunday morning October 4th at Viera's Spacecoast Softball Complex. They went 6-0 and although the scores were fairly low due to heat, wind, and a soft batch of Pro-M balls they never did trail in any game. They knocked off Young Guns (FL-B) 18-12, Abeytu (UT-B) 8-3, Chick-fil-a (VA-A) 12-7, and Nightmare (MO-A) 19-7 in the winner's semifinal. Then in the winner's final Saturday night beat Seminoles (OK-A) 8-6 when Ryan Ramirez hit 2 home runs and collected half of the teams RBI (4). Then Sunday morning Classic Glass shut down Competitive Edge in the championship 9-3 scoring in 5 out of their 6 offensive innings to win the tournament. Seminoles ended up 3rd after losing the loser's final 15-14 on a clutch walk off hit by Competitive Edge outfielder Kevin Bryant. And Juno Athletics/MPT Rentals (NJ-A) last years 'B' Champions finished 4th after losing their 2nd game to Baugh Ford and winning 8 straight in the loser's bracket!
