Kissimmee, FL– April 14, 2016-We would like to take this time to remember Frank “The Tank” Webb who passed away last Saturday following a lengthy battle with cancer, he was 73.
Frank was most notably known for his role as longtime Resmondo General Manager, one of the most decorated teams in USSSA Slowpitch history. Not for lack of a true leader Resmondo was lucky to have found in Frank.
Frank led the team to 10 Major World Series Titles, a feat that was accomplished this past fall. A special win for Resmondo dedicated to the man who led them there.
Needless to say, its a bittersweet time for Team Resmondo, who dropped out of the 2016 Hall of Fame Classic to pay their respects to Frank and his family.
Words cannot fully express the imprint Frank left behind. For Frank will be truly missed but never forgotten.
Frank once said, “You surround yourself with good people, good things happen.” One can attest that same principle to Frank Webb and the legacy he left behind.
