In Memory of Duane Posavetz

Kissimmee, FL– April 14, 2016-We would like to take this moment to remember, Duane “Draino” Posavetz who recently passed away following a courageous battle with cancer at the age of 60.

Duane found his true joy at USSSA, where he took the role of slow-pitch umpire for over 35 years. He was recognized for his work at the 2013 USSSA National Convention where he was inducted into the USSSA Hall of Fame.

He is survived by his parents, Millie and George Posavetz, wife of 30 years, Linda (Holmes), son Jason Bourque and daughter-in-law Valerie (Boyer), daughter Kelly, sister Diane Ulinski and husband Val Ulinski, brother Doug Posavetz, and brother Kevin Posavetz and his wife Janette.

Duane represented everything USSSA stood for and will be truly missed. We send our best wishes to the Posazetz family and send them strength.
