42nd Arkansas Busch Classic Brackets and team list CENTRAL TIMES
The 42nd Annual Busch Classic in Little Rock, Arkansas will be this Friday through Sunday. There are over a hundred teams across 6 men's and women's divisions highlighted by the Conference men's and women's Major. The men's major tournament features 27 teams including 9 from the Nationwide Conference USSSA and the heavy favorite will be Smash It Sports/Newbreed who is looking to score some points going into the Smoky Mountain Classic next week. This tournament has had surprise winner's in the past. A few of the umpires are helping put up the live stream so please be patient as it is not in their normal responsibilities to do this and we appreciate their help. I (DW) won't be there, it is Weiser family reunion weekend. The women's Major has a nice field of 21 teams including the defending world champion T24 and Low Bobs who has won 2 tournaments in the last month!

This weekend at the 42nd Busch Classic Major NIT in Sherwood, AR will have 27 teams and 9 Nationwide Conference USSSA teams in attendance including 1 major, 0 AA, 4 A, 12 B and 10 C teams. SmashItSports/Newbreed/TDB/RF/BD/T3 is the #1 overall seed and favorite. Will Smash It Sports play their starters and risk injury prior to the Smoky? The other Conference teams looking to upset the Major team are: Chick-fil-A / BAF Sports; Envy/Lifetime Diamonds/Legendary; J&R Logistics/Mayhem and Juno Athletics/MPT Rentals. Busch Predictions: The tournament begins at 6:30 pm Friday night with the play in games. The top 5 seeds received a bye and will play at 9:00 and 10:15 pm. The Elite 8 begins at 11:45 am Saturday and should consist of: Juno versus Thunder, Dirty Vegas versus Smash It Sports, Chick-fil-a versus J&R Logistics, and Dudley versus Envy. The final 4 is at 3:30 pm in the heat of the day, so look for low scores. If Smash It Sports plays all its starters look for them to cruise to the championship game undefeated. In the loser's bracket, look for Dudley and Juno to make it back to the 5th place games after their Elite 8 losses.
