“The Olympics of Softball”

The 2025 USSSA Challenge Cup is in its 7th year and features over 400 teams playing across a month of weekends in a state vs state format. In its inaugural season (2019) Challenge Cup had 24 teams, in 2020 they had 74 teams, in 2021 they drew 164 teams, in 2022 they had 316, and in 2023 they had 400+! The growth and creation of this event is the brainchild of tournament director Strojan Kennison. The Challenge Cup men’s Major tournament begins on Friday, January 31st with 14 teams!

They will play at Viera, Florida’s Space Coast Complex with its all turf fields and the Space Coast Stadium with its 325-365-385-365-325 field dimensions with a 16 HR limit! The Major Division starts at 8 am eastern time on Friday morning with a 2 game pool play for all teams with the double elimination bracket play starting on Friday night at 4:30 PM and ending Sunday morning with the championship set for 9:00 AM eastern. #PlayUSSSA #ChallengeAccepted
