The Jim Beam Classic is a new Conference USSSA event but it is actually the 41st year of the tournament overall. Originally the Conference was going to play at the Drakes Creek Park in Hendersonville, TN but due to the parks department overbooking the fields the Conference has moved to Cookeville, TN an hour and a half away. 31 men’s teams including an incredible 29 Conference teams are in the bracket. All 4 Major teams and 9 AA teams will be playing so it is a stacked field! The men will use the quad 300 foot fields at Cane Creek Park and the Tennessee Tech college baseball field called Bush Stadium with its 330-365-405-360-330 field dimensions as the main field. The men’s tournament begins at 4 PM CENTRAL time Friday and everyone plays their “Round of 32” and “Round of 16” games on the first day. On Saturday the “Final 8” teams play down to 1 winner, one game after the other all day long, in the Bush Stadium with the last 3 teams coming back on Sunday morning to finish the tournament. #1 seeded Resmondo and their outstanding offense is the favorite but Monsta, MPT, and Competitive Edge will be hungry to win a tournament with a potential Monsta vs Competitive Edge matchup set to possibly happen at 9:45 AM on Saturday morning in the “Round of 8”. On the women’s side they have 16 teams (15 Conference) and 4 of the Major teams will be there playing most of their games at the 2 field Tennessee Tech intramural fields located next to the Bush stadium. All 3 locations being used for the men and women are within 5 miles of each other.

Following the Nashville Sound vs Iowa Cubs minor league baseball game Thursday night at the First Horizon Ball Park in Nashville, TN there is a charity softball game which will have some conference players in it.
