The Crown Town Classic Conference Major was played at the Mid America Sports Complex in Shawnee, Kansas June 30 – July 1st. The tournament featured 26 teams from 10 different states and some warm and humid weather on the all turf 300 foot fields. The favorite Westpoint Softball a ‘AA’ team from Indiana was the class of the field as they rolled through Siteman, Seminoles, and Dirty Vegas twice to win the event and move into the top 18 in the Conference Points standings. Dirty Vegas/Steel/Envy (TX-A) who is now 15th in the points played well to finish 2nd but ran out of gas late Saturday night. Aristotle (AR-A) fought some wind issues and rain to finish 3rd. And Seminoles/Nacsf.Inc/TPS/RS/Anarchy (OK-A) finally put together a good weekend to finish 4th.

Women’s Busch Classic
Team 24/Montsa (FL-Major) needing a big weekend rolled through the Annual Busch Classic in Sherwood, Arkansas June 30 – July 2nd going undefeated in the 18 team field. They out scored their opponents 83-16 in 5 games knocking off Lady DC/Bat Flip (TX-B) 15-0 in the winner’s final Saturday night and NTL/GS Sports/Worth/Miken (CA-AA) 18-3 in the championship game Sunday morning. Team 24 gained 58 points in the standings and is currently 6th.
