The Golden State Major is this coming weekend in Palm Springs, California at the Big League Dreams park. It features a field of 21 men’s teams and 11 women’s teams. On the men’s side there are 10 Conference teams all from the west and they are led by the 3 ‘AA’ teams – Proton, Classic Glass, and Bay Area Legends who will be the favorites. They will be challenged by ‘A’ teams Cheap Suits, Lund Mortgage, and L&S Glass. Classic Glass added outfielder Dan Kirkwood from Monsta to their roster and Justin Mucciarelli (prior commitment) will not pitch for Bay Area who picked up Losson White. The men’s tournament starts on Friday at 6:00 PM pacific time and they bring back 3 teams on Sunday. The tournament is held at the 5 field Big League Dreams park and they will use the Dudley Pro-M ball. The weather looks pretty great! The women have an 11 team one day event starting at 8 am pacific time. La Famiglia from Pennsylvania is the only major team but they will be challenged by western ‘AA’ teams Classic Glass, NTL, and SFK.
