What positions do you play and what is your best position?
Anywhere in the outfield. Left handed. Can play any outfield spot well.
Who is the best softball player you have ever seen play?
There are so many guys out there now a days. Kyle Pearson is one of them. I've had a good look at Mike Brambilla here in So Cal
Why do you like the game of softball?
It allows me to keep that competitive side going. After baseball I needed something to keep that edge going
Who is the best up and coming player in softball and why?
Again there so many but Kyle Pearson is what 23 maybe 24. He'll be around a long time.
What is your nickname in softball and how did you get it?
Bud. Got it when I was younger from my brothers and sister. Just stuck with me.

5'11 165lbs
Where do you call home?
Riverside, CA
What's your favorite way to spend an off weekend?
Playing softball with a great team and winning. A long Saturday is well worth it when you take the ship home.
What do you do for a living?
I work in sales. Stucco
Did you play sports in High School / College / Pro?
Yes, baseball both in high school and college. Injury forced me out of baseball. Which led to slow pitch.
How did you get your start in softball and how did you get to the upper level?
Started playing in my home town of Blythe with friends and family. Moved out to Riverside and used it as a way to meet people. Want to continue to move up and get better and face better competition.
What was the most surprising difference between Conference play and non-Conference play when you made the jump?
Haven't made that jump yet. Still working on it.
Is there a player that you would compare your game to?
None that I have seen
What would you say is your career highlight to this point? Maybe one play or game that sticks out to you in particular?
Winning a tourney with my family friends from blythe at BLD Chino.
In your career was there a single person (player/manager/coach) who had the most significant impact on your approach to the game? Why?
A lot of teammates always there to help with questions or throw me some bp
What advice can you give a young player trying to break into the upper level?
Keep doing what I'm doing to get there as well. Keep working, hitting bp, playing league always try to play the best teams you can.
What type of batting grip do you use and what ounce bat?
I use pinky off ring finger on the knob top hand overlap. I use a 27oz
What do you do in the offseason to prepare for the next softball season?
Maybe take some time off during the holidays but keep getting bp in at least once or twice a week
What is your favorite sports team and your favorite sport other than softball?
I love baseball. Dont have a team I just watch baseball as much as I can
Do you have any superstitions and if so, what are they?
I have some. If I'm hitting good I'll keep my dip of Cope in. If I'm not I'll toss it out haha
What would be your "at bat" music selection?

What is the best improvement upper level softball could make?
I think they are heading on the right track. They keep improving
What is your favorite non-World tournament and why?
Winning states
What is the best softball field/complex you have played at and why?
BLD Vegas. Love the turf field plus its vegas
Where is the best place to eat on the road after a game?
Golden Corral get that all you can eat
Tell us something about you that most would never know about you?
I'm a pretty open book most people know a lot about me.
What was your favorite sports related gift you have ever given or received?
My grandpa's baseball glove that he used when he played for the Reds. Still have it.
