Kissimmee, FL-March 28, 2016- This Friday, the 11th season of Conference USSSA kicks-off in Las Vegas, Nevada with the 6th Annual “Sin City Classic”.
The first tournament of the Conference season features 40 teams that make up the 2016 competition from across the country: 5 major, 11 'AA' Teams, 12 'A' Teams & 12 'B' Teams.
Tournament play begins April 1st at Big League Dreams Vegas across six different fields. Game times for the Men’s Major and the Women’s Open are listed at USSSA.com.
Defending champs Smash It Sports and Derby Girls both look to defend their title in the “Sin City Classic”. Both teams beat out every single one of their opponents in the 5th Annual Sin City Classic suffering no losses throughout the entire tournament. Smash It completed the weekend with 6 wins while Derby Girls ended the weekend with 4 victories. Last year, Smash it Sports beat the two-time defending champs Laservision and hope to continue their dominant streak at the Sin City Classic this weekend.
On the men’s side we have six major match-ups that begin at 5pm at Big League Dreams Friday night. Defending champs Smash It Sports begin their Sin City grind on Friday night at 7:30 pm against the winner between Elite Sports and ERX/Tribal Whips.
The women's open competition begins at 6:15pm Friday evening with a match-up between SFK/ A&S Constructors and J&L Athletics/Easton. Both Men's and Women's play continues well into the evening with the final game starting up at 10:00 pm. Defending champs Derby Girls play their first game of the Sin City Classic on Saturday afternoon at 1:20 pm against either Smash It Sports or Jersey Girls who battle it out Friday night.
