Kissimmee, FL-March 15, 2016- Created in 2006 with only 16 teams in its inaugural season, Conference USSSA has grown to host 50 teams from across the nation. This April, Conference USSSA is heading into its 11th season following a decade of play. Although USSSA has expanded to other sports over the years, slow-pitch softball, the sport USSSA was founded on continues to thrive.
Conference USSSA competition will kick off this year in Las Vegas, NV on April 1st with the 6th Annual Louisville Slugger Sin City Classic.
The 29th Annual Last Chance Major will close out the 2016 schedule beginning the weekend of August 5th in Sterling Heights, MI. Following this tournament the top 32 teams by Conference points will qualify for the Conference Championships in Kissimmee, FL.
This year, there will only be two dual events: one in Kissimmee, FL and one in Kent, Washington. Six Conference Tournaments will be held in Oklahoma, Arizona, Southern California, Little Rock, Minnesota and Louisiana. These six locations will be designated “Special Point” events.
